Acorn Hill Angora Farm is a fiber producing goat farm founded in 2013. The farm is located south of the Twin Cities in New Prague, Minnesota. Being a former dairy farm, the property houses an old red barn, a chicken coop, and many out buildings. Perfect for raising animals!
Kathy and Dave Ranzinger are the founders of Acorn Hill Farm . Both farmers come from a veterinary background and love animals. The farm has become home to s small herd of Angora goats as well as horses, chickens, cats and dogs.
Our Angora goats are ethically raised and loved like pets. Twice each year each goat gets put up on a stand for Kathy and Dave to give them a haircut. Using small clippers, their fleece is sheared. Shearing does not harm the goat or cause any pain. The fiber Angora goats produce is mohair,
We provide quality mohair to be used in various crafts like knitting, crocheting, and more at reasonable prices.
